Production of Emergency Plans

Ensuring that your company has suitable emergency plans which are known and understood by employees and external response agencies is vital if the company is to minimise the effects of the emergency. We have extensive experience of producing plans which are both simple and scaleable to cope with any foreseeable eventuality, and can probably cope with the completely unexpected too.

We firmly believe in the integration of the emergency response and coping with everyday out of course events, so that when an incident happens the responders are already familiar with their part in response either

because it is similar to what they do much of the time, or

because they are briefed and exercised on the rarer aspects ( eg assisting families of the bereaved in the event of a major incident).

We also believe that providing appropriate humanitarian aid to casualties and survivors is the responsibility of the incident “owner”. This doesn't necessarily mean directly, but by enabling and empowering others to do so on their behalf through a mutual aid network. We can help clients to understand their “Duty of Care” responsibilities, and assist them to include this aspect of response into their plans.

Production of training materials and exercises is also part of the service available.

We have extensive knowledge and experience of emergency service operations, and strong links with many local authorities, so can assist clients to produce suitable Off -site plans, or to fulfil their cooperation duties under the Civil Contingencies Regulations which require Category 1 and 2 responders to have access to qualified emergency planners.
